Linking to webpages
Have links open in a new window on iPads. Right now students can not leave the link once they get there. They need to close out of the app and reenter into it to respond to a link that I shared with them.
4 votesHI there,
When placing a link in the program on the classwall, you can adjust the target so that the video opens up in another window.
Thanks for the suggestion!

Class Wall
Allow students to do longer responses on class wall section. This would be like a college blackboard scenario allowing students to formulate a response to a question posed by the teacher, but also learn to respond to others in a controlled setting.
3 votesYes! The students can post longer responses and students and teachers can even post videos!

Reset a concept and start over
It would be good to be able to reset any individual concept from a learning path unit so the student can start over. Once they have attempted a certain number of questions incorrectly, it can get very difficult for them to reach the set pass rate percentage.
If I teach the concept all over again I'd like to reset the concept so it is less demotivating and they can gain a proficient score more rapidly.10 votesHi all,
In 2.0, student scores are no longer the typical average but a decaying average which places more weight on the latest score. Thanks for your patience and great suggestions. We really appreciate it!

Love the new changes, especially the parent wall to enhance communication.
LIke IXL.com, I'd like to see pictures with fraction math questions, because developmentally, pictures aid with the mental construct of fractions for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders.
4 votesHello,
In the Practice 2.0, questions have pictures and many times, students have to manipulate objects to help them conceptually understand what is being presented!
Cheers!

Assignment Review Options
A suggestion from me would be....if there was an easier way to review assignments. Click and go would be ideal. Currently, we have to scroll through the assignments, click on the particular assignment, then wait for the assignment to load. Could there be a way to see the scoring of the assignment on the listing? Or review scores of each particular student.
We have different items we can look at in the reports option. Why not add assignments as another option? I would like to see their assignments as well as know the %. Seeing how they are answering a…

Class Forums
Create a forum for students to post to specific questions set up for students to reply to and also attach documents other students can see as well. I would like to see a forum for students to be able to ask questions for the teacher and vice versa. I was thinking of something set up similar to how online courses are set up. This could be used for questions and submitting assignments which would be a nice alternative to typical paper and pencil. A lot of my students do not have email addresses and this would help serve as a…

reading log
You should add the ability to duplicate assignments that have already been assigned. We do reading logs every week so extending the due date doesn't help. We have to go through and re-select the fill ins every week. It would be much easier to just make a copy and change the dates.
0 votesHi All,
Thanks a bunch for the suggestion/feedback. Currently, you can copy a reading log assignment and duplicate it.

Math Counters
Counters for the kids instead of the drawing pencil. It is too difficult for k, 1st, and sped students to draw circles for the addition problems.
0 votesHello,
In Practice 2.0, students are presented with the items which need to be counted!

Add a feature to search for specific math concepts regardless of grade.
Currently, when I search for a concept, it only searches within my grade. I have students with varied abilities, and gaps that are outside their current grade. I'd love to be able to search for a concept, and see all the related activities, regardless of grade.

Allow teacher awarding of coins for any/all assignments.
Teachers should be able to award coins for whichever student activities they wish. For example, I would like to award a small amount of coins for simply completing a pre- or post-assessment. I'd like to be able to raise or lower the coin level of assignments based on how long/ difficult they are for my kids. It seems this could be a teacher option throughout the app.
31 votesTeachers can now award bonus coins on assignments. This gives teacher the opportunity to add additional coins to the amount they automatically receive for completing an assignment.

Vocabulary
Add more options for vocabulary learning and review. My 5th graders do not study spelling and the options under spelling are limited as far as using it for vocabulary. I am stuck with using quizlet for vocabulary and I would love to use scootpad for vocabulary.
5 votesScootPad currently has 1,700+ Word Lists in it’s Public Lists section. These lists are created by ScootPad and other teachers and categorized by grade level. You can access these lists when adding a spelling assignment and clicking on the Public Word Lists tab.

Math (Assignment Reveiw) EDIT OPTIONS
While in the Math (Assignment Review) window it would be nice to have the option to edit the assignment directly from this window, particularly the end date, rather than going back to the assignment grid and finding the edit pencil. It all is a bit clunky when operating within the same assignment. It would be nice to have editing options or editing link within the review window.
6 votesHello!
We are excited to announce that you can now edit the assignment within the review window. This exciting enhancement will make updating the assignment super easy.

grid
My 2nd grade students have a difficult time drawing the grid to count the squares. The question ask them to draw so many columns and rows and count the squares in it. If it only asked for a few columns or rows it wouldn't be so bad but when it asks for 9 rows and 4 columns, it takes them forever and they get lost. Maybe there could be a grid already on the question they could use to count instead of drawing it themselves.
2 votesHello,
in 2.0, the grid is already available for the students. Thanks for the suggestion!
