Easy math

Optional Assignments
I'd love to see a way to make assignments optional and labeled or sorted as such. Maybe there could be another tab in the dashboard for optional assignments.

Thanks for the suggestion! You can use the current feature and label the assignment OPTIONAL. This is a great way for students to differentiate between what’s necessary and what’s not!

Scheduling assignments
Ability to schedule assignments to launch by date and time..... Ability to give an assignment without taking away adaptive practice option.

Assignment deleting
Ability to select and delete group of assignments. I accidently repeated my assignments weekly and it took forever to click and delete each and every one.

This feature currently exists. You can change the date to reflect all time. Then type in the name of the assignment without the #. Example: You created a weekly assignment called Numbers. If you type in Numbers and then change the dates, all of the assignments called Numbers will populate. You can then select all and delete in mass.

Not repeating Concept Improvement Assignments
I would like the ability to see whether or not I have assigned an improvement concept to a student previously or not. I tend to get confused on what I have assigned and fear that I'm assigning the same thing to the same students.

This feature currently exists. in the assignment view, when you select add new assignment there is a column which shows you the standards you have assigned.

bigger font on assignment page for students
The screen where students choose the activity needs to have bigger font so they can more easily choose the activity specified if I have posted multiple assignments.

Students can see the one assignment you post when you assign the others to start at future dates as opposed to listing them all to start at the same time.

Time Restrictions
Time restrictions -
I would like to be able to set a time restriction on individual assignments. I want some of the assignments to be done only in class and not at home, as I know my students will use calculators at home instead of working out the problems. So, on an assignment, I might restrict the work time to be between 7:30 to 2:00 only.1 voteIn our new Practice 2.0 this feature is available for Targeted Practice.

Short answer questions
Love Scootpad! The ability to add short answer questions in ELA would be great! I don't mind having to grade one or two questions myself. That way I can ask more in depth ELA questions and students can practice this skill before standardized testing!

Archiving old homework
ability to archive homework assignments but still have a way to access them from a different tab so we don't have as many assignments to scroll through when reviewing.

easier navigation for feedback/reviewing assignments
when reviewing homework, have option to select a student and then review each assignment and progress to next assignment. currently I have to use drop down to select student, then select on an assignment, give feedback/review but then there isn't a way to move to next assignment without going through above steps each time.

Easy Access Websites
I really liked being able to add a website to the wall for students to click and go! Is that a possibility or am I just not seeing it? Thanks!

select class for placement test
I would like to see a way for teachers to select all students for a placement test instead of having to click each student. I can take my entire class to the lab once a week and I like to give them a placement test at that time. It takes a while to select each student.

Teachers rewarding students with coins
I would like to be able to assign / reward coins to students based on their participation, improvement etc. It will help give them a further incentive

Individual student assignment reports. Meaning I can look up if a student is consistently completing their assignments without having to look at each assignment individually.

Teacher "Sandbox" or "Test Classroom"
For paid teacher accounts, it would be very helpful to have a "sandbox" group (at the same level as the teacher is paying for) where the teacher could also sign in as student or parent. It would be very nice to see how things look from student/teacher perspective, and to see how ideas I would like to try out will look in practice before experimenting on the class as a whole.

Feel free to add yourself as a student and in that way, you can see the content the way the students see it. You can also give this student version of yourself a “parent” and see how that works!

Rewards
We need to be able to let students know when a reward is not longer available without deleting the reward.
