Teacher: Add classroom


Teachers, to add a classroom, follow the steps below:

1. On your teacher home page, click on add classroom. TIP for Google Classroom teachers: This will only work if you've clicked "Sign in with Google."

2. Name your classroom, select the correct grade level and click save.  If you are setting up a Google or Clever classroom, select the radio button to "Import from Google or Clever" instead. If importing from Google, look in your search bar for a pop-up being blocked. It's important to allow pop-ups in order to authenticate using Google! 

3. For your classroom, choose the Math curriculum first. You can search by state to narrow down the list. You can also skip this step if you don't need to have Math turned on in this classroom.
4. Next, search the available Learning Paths by grade level. You can filter the search by the learning standards you want to be included in the path. You can narrow down the search by selecting the sharing levels associated with the path. (This is an excellent option if you want to see only paths created and shared with others in your school.) You can preview the new Learning Path to see an outline of the standards unit by unit. You can hit the blue back button to return to the previous step.  Repeat the process for ELA if you need ELA turned on for this classroom.



5. Enroll the students into this classroom by either searching from the school directory, typing new students in, or having students self-enroll.
