How to find Javascript console errors and report them

ScootPad uses Javascript to enable complex cloud-based features. Occasionally, this results in errors based on a user's unique device or network environment. To better troubleshoot such errors, ScootPad 's support team may request you to submit your "Javascript console errors" from your browser.

Follow these instructions to find Javascript console errors in your browser:
  1. In your browser window click the "Tools" or "Settings" icon
  2. Go to Tools > Developer Tools and click Console (this may vary depending on your browser)
Once you find errors (in red), submit a screenshot or error details to the  ScootPad support team.
