How to find Javascript console errors and report them

ScootPad uses Javascript to enable complex cloud-based features. Occasionally, this results in errors based on a user's unique device or network environment. ScootPad 's support team may request you to submit your "Javascript console errors" from your browser to troubleshoot such errors better.

Follow these instructions to find Javascript console errors in your browser or from your student's device:
  1. In your browser window, click the "Tools" or "Settings" icon
  2. Go to Tools > Developer Tools and click Console (this may vary depending on your browser) (You can also right-click on the page and select "Inspect")
Once you find errors (in red), submit a screenshot or error details to the  ScootPad support team.
