Differentiating Student Practice (Targeted Practice method)

Take the driver's seat and manually assign all of the content your students will see. Let’s get started!

a) Disable Adaptive Practice for the subject areas you do not want automatic assignments in.

  b) Assign your first Targeted Practice and choose which skills you want students to work on.

c) By default, the assignment will contain the Concept IDs, making tracking progress easier!

d) Review Targeted Practice results and give feedback or reassign as needed.

d) Check the “By Standard” report (Reports>By Standard) to review student progress at the standard level.

e) Group students into small groups for differentiation and target these small groups with lessons or additional practice!

f) Plan and prepare additional Targeted Practices or Assessments.
g) Review the Proficiency Dashboard and drill down to see how students are trending in the concepts you have assigned

These steps will ensure you can manually differentiate for your students!
