Sign In with Google Integration

ScootPad offers an out-of-the-box integration to enable Sign In using existing Google accounts. Using this capability, users can seamlessly launch ScootPad with their Google accounts without needing to enter/remember another set of UserID/Password.

To get started with this integration, please follow the steps below:  

1) All Users - Integration Instructions:

  1. Go to https://scootpad.com/signin
  2. Click the Sign In with Google button
  3. Enter your Google account information and accept ScootPad access. Then choose one of the two options:

  • Option 1: Create a brand new ScootPad account. Choose your account type, enter your email, and choose a school
  • Option 2: Link to your existing ScootPad account (enter your ScootPad Username / Password)

2) Account-Specific Next Steps: 

Administrators - Follow these next steps:
1. Your new Admin account request is sent to the ScootPad team for verification (within 24 hours)
2. ScootPad team will review and inform you once it has been approved

Teachers - Follow these next steps:
1. Select your school (If not already done) - by searching schools by name or city. 
2Create your classroom (if not already done) - Share your unique class code with your students to self-enroll
3. Ask students to follow the steps below to self-enroll into your classroom from their Google accounts  

Students - Follow these next steps:
1. Enroll in your classroom using the unique class code given to you by your teacher

3) Launch ScootPad with your Google account going forward as follows:

  1. Go to https://scootpad.com/signin
  2. Click the Sign In with Google button  
  3. Enter your Google account information (if not already signed into your Google account) 
  4. You will be taken directly to your ScootPad dashboard
