ClassLink SSO Integration
To get started with ClassLink integration, please follow the steps below:
1) Enable the ScootPad App on ClassLink:
a) Teachers - Install ScootPad App
b) Admins - Assign the ScootPad App
2) One-time Account Set Up:
Administrators - Follow these steps:
1. Sign in to your ClassLink account
2. Launch the ScootPad app and you will be prompted with two options:
Option 1: Create a brand new ScootPad Account; or
Option 2: Link to your existing ScootPad Account (enter your ScootPad Username / Password)
3. New Admin requests are sent to our team to be verified (within 24 hours)
4. We will review and approve your account, then inform you once it has been approved
Teachers - Follow these steps:
1. Sign in to your ClassLink account
2. Launch the ScootPad app and you will be prompted with two options:
Option 1: Create a brand new ScootPad Account; or
Option 2: Link to your existing ScootPad Account (enter your ScootPad Username / Password)
3. Select your school (if not already done) - by searching schools by name or city.
4. Create your classroom (if not already done) - Share your unique class code with your students to self-enroll
5. Ask students to follow the steps below to self-enroll into your classroom from ClassLink
Students - Follow these steps:
1. Sign in to your ClassLink account
2. Launch the ScootPad app and you will be prompted with two options:
Option 1: Create a brand new ScootPad Account; or
Option 2: Link your existing ScootPad Account (enter your ScootPad UserID / Password)
3. Enroll in your classroom using the class code given to you by your teacher
3) Launch ScootPad from ClassLink going forward as follows:
- Log into ClassLink
- Launch the ScootPad app
- You will be taken directly to your ScootPad dashboard
