How can we improve ScootPad?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.

    ELL students need to hear instruction in their first languages. Is it possible to add Spanish to the audio?

  2. Math Facts

    Can you add a Fact Master component to Math? Which would help identify students ability to quickly know their addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts? Thanks

  3. Access to writing on whole page.

    There has been many a time that, as a teacher, I wanted to be able to write on the page EVERYWHERE! I know I have access in each box, but sometimes I would like to write on the page in other areas besides the box. I am used to an app called explain everything that allows me to bring in my own work and write all over the page, not in just a box.
    Although, this works well, sometimes I have to get up to the screen where I am mirroring and point and draw my finger to illustrate something.…

  4. Timer

    Can Scootpad somewhere have a timer feature to click on? I like ClassDojo because it has a countdown timer I can use on their webiste and it is projected when the projector is on so kids can see how much longer they have to work on various classroom activities (not Scootpad assignments). It would be great on this website so I wouldn't have to flip back and forth between websites, Scootpad is close to replacing all my other sites!

    Hi there – Thanks for the feedback/question. ScootPad does a lot of data analysis and processing in real-time based on student answers and the grade that was assigned automatically. Hence, allowing for a teacher override is something that is not feasible to accommodate at this time. The team has been made aware of this request/need and will address this in the future design changes of the platform.

  7. Individual Reading Level Assessment

    Could you include a Reading level assessment component that would be included on mastery reports? This would reveal the individual expected reading level. Thanks

  18. Student Results

    The Activity Reports are great in letting us know exactly what students are missing; but they would be much more useful if we were able to print them WITHOUT the correct answers showing. I use them to remediate with my students and have them rework the problems they missed, but I have to whiteout the correct answer in order to use them.

  19. Games on Grade Level

    Adjust the games so that the challenge presented is on level with the students. My students were excited to use their tokens that they earned for the games, but the word searches and hangman had vocabulary that was way above their 2nd grade level.

  20. All encompassing placement test

    A placement test that would test students through all grade levels so that students could dig into lower grade levels for remediation of skills that have gaps. Or let's them skip up grade levels as an enrichment.
