Rigor of questions
I would like to see more rigorous questions. Even for my students who are working above grade level, the responding to text questions do not require lots of thought. Most of the questions in adaptaive practice are like this, regardless of the standard they are practicing. Even having a standard four answer choices for all responding to text questions will help.
2 votesThanks for the feedback! Please note that we currently offer over 50 different item types and 4 different DOK levels within the practice content. At this time, we suggest that teachers use the assessment content to hand pick questions with specific DOK levels or item types to ensure a higher rigor.

Assessment Attempts
I would like the students to be able to attempt an assessment more than one time. It would be nice to set the number of attempts for each assessment. Then it would be nice to be able to delete attempts so they can retake assessments or so I could keep the one assessment I wanted out of the multiple attempts. The students are not able to go back to questions to review or change their answers. This would help the students review their answers. I have had some type it wrong or figure out they did it wrong from a…
1 voteHello,
Thank you for the feedback. Currently, you are able to reassign any assessment for students to work on it as often as possible! Simply go to Content>Assessment bank and reassign. In addition, we are rolling out the possibility for students to review answers before submitting. Stay tuned for this in the Summer/Fall!

Students able to be in multiple classrooms
Adding a feature to let a student access multiple classrooms. For instance, if I have a student that gets pulled out to a resource room, instead of having that student only be allowed to be in my class, the student would have the ability to be in the resource class and my class. That way the resource room teacher can set up her own class with her students and give additional assignments instead of being a co-teacher in my class.
2 votesHi there – Thanks for the feedback/question. You can enroll the same student in multiple classrooms which can be managed by multiple teachers or co-teachers. Here are instructions on how to enroll “existing” students to other classrooms: https://scootpad.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/683744-how-to-enroll-existing-students
Thanks so much for your feedback, support, and patience.

Kid chat
my idea is to let children type to each other
so they can interact with each other in some way not just message each other with already typed words but there will be a monitor that sees what they type before they send it, so there wont be any cyber bullying.45 votesWe currently allow kids to respond to each other and interact on the class wall

Incorporate same tools as SBAC testing is using so the kids can practice.
It would be great if the same tools students are going to have to use on SBAC testing were incorporated into Scootpad for day to day practice.
7 votesOur Assessments feature incorporates 20+ technology based question formats that students encounter on tests such as SBAC and PARCC and we plan on increasing this number to 50+ by the end of Summer 2015.

Have rewards that are through scootpad.
For example, 45 coins for doing well in Math, or a game pass to pick one game of choice.

This feature exists. When a parent has an At Home license or Home school account, they can assign bonus coins to their students for pretty much anything :) Please let us know if you have further questions!

Honeycomb Headings
We would like to suggest that the honeycomb show concept numbers and the headings RL, RI, L. It doesn't need to show the grade level specific numbers, but would help us communicate with students the ELA general topics with which they struggle.
6 votesHello,
While the honeycombs only show the concept ID, you can also view the learning path by domain, as a teacher and student, in order to communicate the specific area of struggle. Thanks for the feedback! Let us know if you have further questions!

Grade levels written into questions.
Please take the grade level out of passages. Ex: 'Using 2nd grade vocabulary...', 'On a 2nd grade passage...'. While I appreciate being able to assign different grade level paths for each student, many of the questions tell them that they are working at a lower level.
4 votesHello,
We currently do not show the grade level inside of content (questions). We do express the grade level in the description of the standard. ScootPad is aligned to standards and we do not change the wording as indicated within the standard itself. Please let us know if you have further questions and thank you for your support!

Features that would be helpful for teachers
Teachers would like to be able to turn off certain domains in the adaptive practice for students. So that students do not have to work on standards that have not been taught.
3 votesHello!
This exists! Teachers can create their own learning paths at any time which contain only the concepts they want the students to work in. Please review how by checking out our blog :)

Ebooks
It would be nice if there were individualized questions for ebooks instead of generalized ones for comprehension. I would like for my students to be able to answer specific questions about specific ebooks to better determine their comprehension.
1 voteHello,
In your ebook settinga, you can turn on comprehension question (inline, at the end, or none). These are individualized questions for each book! The student has to answer correctly in order to move on. Thanks!

I would like to see a collaberative area where students can interact and share project ideas, stories, artwork etc. Possibly a discussion
I would like students to be able to share ideas and work. Maybe a threaded discussion area where work can be uploaded and peer reviewed.
1 voteHi there!
The class wall is currently the area where students can participate in discussions and also share links to google docs and videos! Thanks for the feedback and suggestion!

Hide Assignments
Allow teachers to hide assignments. This way the screen won't be cluttered with assignments already completed/no longer needed by the teacher.
1 voteHi Kathy,
This feature exists. Once the students complete an assignment, it disappears from their view. The teacher needs to delete assignments that the student is not required to complete, as ScootPad would not know that the student is not required to complete these. Once the teacher deletes these, it will be removed for the student. If you need assistance deleting assignments, please refer to this article (https://scootpad.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/426451-how-to-delete-an-assignment)
Thanks!
