Snapshot dashboard for parents with mutiple children
I have the parent subscription and my three kids use Scootpad. It would be nice to view everyone's progress in one place without having to go into each individual account. A snapshot dashboard would be great.
2 votesHello,
Thanks for the suggestion! We rolled out homeschool for this purpose! Take a look!
Cheers!

Math questions including multiple standards and steps all in one!
In Math, create multi-step problems that integrate multiple standards, similar to those seen on the Smarter Balanced assessment.
2 votesThanks for the suggestion. Practice 2.0 contains multi step problems and also SBAC simulations!

non cumulative standards reports
I would love to see a students mastery report be indicative of the last assignment. Since it is a cumulative report, it does not indicate that a student has now grasped and mastered the concept.
2 votesHello,
With the rollout of Practice .0, we are using a decaying average and the last score is always given the highest weight indicating the students’ comprehension. Take a look at the new site and let us know what you think!
Thanks for the sugggestion!

RUBRIC and writing improvements
I need to be able to customize the RUBRIC grades. Sometimes the assignment is only worth 2 points so I need to use a 0,1,or 2 for each category. I also need more space to type a writing assignment. I can only type 120 characters. This is not enough space for a specific assignment.
2 votesHello,
The writing area has undergone some improvements. Depending on the browser you can easily copy and paste, but the information can still be displayed! You can also decide if you want to use the rubric and you can write as much as you would like! Try it out and thanks for your support!

Grading Draft Writing Assignments
After the deadline has passed for a writing assignment, we should be able to see the draft students are working on. That way we can decide whether or not to grade the draft.
2 votesHello! We have revamped the writing feature! You ca now see drafts and choose to grade them. The assignments also auto-save after 10- seconds and the interface for students has been improved. Thanks for your support!

REAL TIME progress board
Just thought of a "REAL TIME" dashboard where you can see an assignment and which students have completed it. I was thinking of projecting it onto my smartboard for the purpose of motivating my students to complete their work on time---and to monitor their completing it as well.
2 votesHi All,
In Practice 2.0, as your students complete their targeted practices, you can view in real time, how they are responding within each concept. This is super helpful so that you can make quick pivots to instruction and create small groups!

Limit math assignment problems
Teachers would like the ability to limit the number of questions on the assignments to 10 instead of 20. As the standards get more in-depth, 20 questions tends to frustrate the children. Teachers are also able to determine if the child has the understanding of the standard without the students having to do all 20.
2 votesHi there, Practice 2.0 solves for this by allowing teachers to choose a default# of questions for practices! Thanks for supporting us!

At-a-glance reports
At-a-glance whole class reports. I would like to be able to pull up a gradebook style table to show a whole class of students (y-axis), standards (x axis) and cells shaded in based on %mastery of each standard. Similarly, a quick glance table like that of assignment completion.
2 votesHello,
Thank you for the suggestion. These features have been rolled out in our new Practice 2.0 platform. At a glance, teachers can view insights by concept at the assignment level using the stoplight colors of red, yellow, and green. Visit our new homepage to see details!

Spelling word lists
If I want to assign a word list I can copy and paste and many sentences come up for me. I wish it was like this when I added a new word list. Instead I can't copy and paste my whole list at once and I have to type in each of my own sentences.
2 votesHi there,
You can copy and paste words and sentences will come up for you! You can then assign this very easily. Thank you for your feedback!
We appreciate you!

Ebook Data
I love that students can read ebooks and take comprehension quizzes, however, I would like to data from the quiz to see how many questions were answered corrected based on the reading.
2 votesHi,
In the eBooks comprehension questions feature, the students cannot continue in the eBook without getting the question correct. The reports in this section of the platform allow you to see when the student has finished and also track their progress in the book. Stay tuned for other enhancements!

Could you please add inference practice?
RI5.1 is not just about quoting texts. It also involves making Inferences. I have found that students need a lot of training in the area of making inferences.
2 votesThanks for the feedback! Practice 2.0 contains lots of questions that you can peruse and practice in reference to making inferences.
Enjoy!

Opening Assignments by Time and Date
You allow the ability to set up assignments in advance by date. When teaching multiple classes, students in later classes have completed assignments before their class. Since some assignments are set up for assessing a lesson taught in class, it would be nice to also be able to open the assignment according to the physical time in addition to the date, so they cannot do something before it is taught in the class.
2 votesHello,
We have revamped 2.0 and targeted practices can now be set for a specific time and date.
Thanks for the suggestion!

Option to alphabetize fulfilling rewards (not just by date)
With the rewards to fulfill, I suggest the option to alpha-order grouping similar rewards from various dates together. Put the same icons side by side. This will make it faster for us to fulfill them if we don't redeem rewards on a daily basis.
1 voteHi everyone,
This feature has been implemented! Thanks for your support and the wonderful suggestions!

It needs an easier sign in for Kindergarten students
Half of my class can sign in, but half are having trouble. If I can make it a single number or letter for them to login, it would help. Also, on the ipad, the voice doesn't match up with the highlighted words, so it confuses the students.
1 voteHello Cindy,
I wanted to let you know we have just added a single-click sign on feature for students so they can log in through a student portal. The link for your students is http://scootpad.com/482403 . We are in the process of adding a button on the teacher dashboard as well as making other changes, so keep an eye out!Thank you,
