We provide teachers with the flexibility to buy Premium plans for as many months as needed (minimum one month – no contracts or long-term commitments). Hence we do NOT offer any cancellations or refunds – if you are not satisfied with your already purchased Premium plan, you can stop purchasing for the future months.

Optional Assignments
I'd love to see a way to make assignments optional and labeled or sorted as such. Maybe there could be another tab in the dashboard for optional assignments.

Thanks for the suggestion! You can use the current feature and label the assignment OPTIONAL. This is a great way for students to differentiate between what’s necessary and what’s not!

Attach a video which students may view and then respond to. This could be done under project or writing.1 voteHello,
You can post videos on the class wall and then use the writing area to have students write about it. We will be revamping the writing area sos stay tuned as this may be coming there too!

i have a dilemma
I am homeschooling my 4th grade grand daughter. I signed up for Scoot Pad several months ago (a free program). Yet there is absolutely nothing we can access. She can't read any of the online books from the library, there are no worksheets or classes...there is nothing. so why is this advertised as something great? I am very disappointed as I spent hours devising her curriculum before the end of last school year. If I am doing something wrong, please please let me know. If the free program can't do or access anything than I will just delete this account.

Scheduling assignments
Ability to schedule assignments to launch by date and time..... Ability to give an assignment without taking away adaptive practice option.

This feature exists. You can schedule assignments to appear for the student at a future date and this does not take away from their adaptive practices.

Assignment deleting
Ability to select and delete group of assignments. I accidently repeated my assignments weekly and it took forever to click and delete each and every one.

This feature currently exists. You can change the date to reflect all time. Then type in the name of the assignment without the #. Example: You created a weekly assignment called Numbers. If you type in Numbers and then change the dates, all of the assignments called Numbers will populate. You can then select all and delete in mass.

Automatic assignments
There should be an option for teachers to turn on or off automated assigned work based on questions the students have missed.

You can turn off adaptive practice at a classroom level and the students can work on assignments you give.

Engagement
There is zero engagement in this program. Having a more interesting layout and a character or avatar would make the program more interesting for students.

Wrong Items for Standard
Set it up so that when we are helping students with a problem and we see that the problem is not appropriate for the standard have a way at that time to have the teacher send Scootpad a notification that there is a problem with that item. Maybe a special password or something that lets us inform Scootpad immediately.

bigger font on assignment page for students
The screen where students choose the activity needs to have bigger font so they can more easily choose the activity specified if I have posted multiple assignments.

Have free options for multiple classrooms.
Have free options for multiple classrooms. We are a k-5 alternative class and have at times one student in each grade and up to 15 students total. Mostly we have around 9 kids for most of the year.

Time Restrictions
Time restrictions -
I would like to be able to set a time restriction on individual assignments. I want some of the assignments to be done only in class and not at home, as I know my students will use calculators at home instead of working out the problems. So, on an assignment, I might restrict the work time to be between 7:30 to 2:00 only.1 voteIn our new Practice 2.0 this feature is available for Targeted Practice.

Instructors can set a min score percentage
After talking with my child's teacher about some of his work on here. I found out that some of the assignments are only considered completed if he has scored over an 80% on the assignment. I would like to see a feature were the instructors can set a percentage that needs to be hit before the assignment is marked completed.

An assignment is considered completed on ScootPad once the student answers all of the questions. The teacher can set the proficiency in order for the student to master the concept but the assignment will be marked complete irrespective of the %.

Use Scootpad to reinforce standard specific skills
Use Scootpad for extra practice on specific standards after you have re-taught them. It really helps reinforce the standard for the student! Later, the student usually meets the standard on your re-test.

Class snapshot
It would be nice to have a class snapshot report where I could see total mastery &, but then also broken down by reading and language, without having to browse each kid individually.

Writing/Language Practice
Add a tab for writing/language practice.

Thanks for the suggestion. Please utilize the writing area in the program to have your students practice writing. You can also view reports. Lastly, you can also create targeted assignments and assessments utilizing the language standards.

previous knowledge (kindergarten)
I teach kindergarten. I think it would be great if there were some concepts that helped support the common core concepts. Not all of my students come in that previously had exposure to these concepts. For example, students may not know their alphabet and need extra practice with it. Or even need help with specific letters and sounds.
